We can make a difference in the lives of our military veterans this holiday season

Supporting our military has always been very important to my husband, Keith and me. Many of our family members & friends have proudly served, including Keith, my father, my father-in-law, 3 of our nephews, and countless uncles. I deeply appreciate the courage it takes for our service members to put their lives on the line and protect our country. What I have only recently come to fully appreciate, is the horrific toll it can take on the lives of these brave men and women. There are 18-20 million veterans in the U.S., 21 veterans commit suicide everyday and only a small fraction of those ever reach out for help. CreatiVets has found a creative, inspiring way to reach veterans to help them work through the PTS they struggle with every day.

It is an honor for me to serve on the board of CreatiVets and support the vision of veteran and co-founder, Richard Casper, and his team. It has also been such a pleasure to get to know talented artists, like Brian White & Karyn Williams, who share their gift of songwriting with our veterans.

Join me in promoting real change with CreatiVets. Help us serve our military veterans suffering from depression, anxiety and isolation due to PTS by bringing them the healing power of art and music for the holidays.
